The Las Vegas Fashion Council Fashion Industry Scholarships provide valuable financial support to aspiring fashion students and emerging designers, alleviating the financial burden of pursuing a career in fashion. By providing opportunities to learn from experienced professionals, attend fashion-related programs, and take part in educational programs, scholarship recipients can enhance their skills and expand their network, increasing their chances of success in the industry. We believe that investing in the education and development of young talent creates a brighter future for the fashion industry. LVFC is committed to supporting the next generation of fashion professionals by providing scholarships to help them achieve their full potential.
DEADLINE: JANUARY 31, 2024
LVFC is proud to present annual scholarships through the Las Vegas Fashion Council Scholarship Fund in partnership with the Public Education Foundation. The number of awards distributed each year will depend on the funds available for distribution within that year. LVFC will announce the number of scholarship awards annually. Applicants may reapply each year.
Applicant must meet the following criteria before applying:
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and resident of Clark County or surrounding areas
Applicant must be a senior in high school, high school graduate or GED equivalent in the state of Nevada, or enrolled in a certified fashion industry program
In order to be considered, a minimum of a 2.5 GPA must be provided
Be able to provide proper identification, social security number and transcripts
Fashion industry includes focus in the following areas: fashion design, costume design, fashion marketing and advertising, fashion merchandising, fashion media and journalism, fashion graphic design, fashion photography, fashion business management and cosmetology.
